Britannia Industries Ltd share price gained 2.51% to Rs 5444.0 after the company's net profit fell 12.70% to Rs 593.38 crore, while revenue from operations slightly gained 5.94% to Rs 4964.37 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Packaged Foods industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 4.88 lakh crore, slipping 2.59%. It has softened by 1.52% over last one week and moved up slightly by 0.10% in last one month while the market capitalization of Britannia Industries Ltd has slipped by 1.66% and 1.62% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Britannia Industries Ltd stood at Rs 797.35 crore in Q2 FY26, advancing by 13.74% year-on-year, and easing 1.56% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 779 crore, improving 11.24% YoY and declining 2.35% sequentially. Total expenses posted a minor rise of 7.29% to Rs 4239.37 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 2799.56 crore, going up by 12.48% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 209.6 crore, jumping 12.61% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations inched higher 7.55% to Rs 18858.21 crore, while net profit improved by 16.49% to Rs 2537.01 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA jumped by 298255% to Rs 3320.4 crore, and PBT improved 12.38% to Rs 3288.78 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 2611.6 crore in FY26, as against Rs 2490.62 crore in FY25. Britannia Industries Ltd slipped 3.33% in last one year, performing in line with the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 2.64% during the same period.
